The kennedy necktie is made from gray lightweight wool/rayon blend suiting, with a large scale windowpane check stitched in blue heavy duty thread with purple accents. The rayon makes the fabric very soft and smooth, while the wool gives it some weight.

Like all Holland Cox products, the neckties are made by hand in Alexandria, Virginia, just a few miles outside of Washington, DC.

how it's made
Lightweight wool/rayon suiting is cut on the bias and stitched with blue and purple heavy duty thread. The tie is formed using a classic four-fold construction, and the traditional style tips are finished with purple cotton sateen.

Upcycled wool blend interlining gives this necktie just the right weight, and a good sized knot. Each necktie is finished with invisible hand stitching in silk thread, for a durable but flexible seam.
